Spontaneous Meetings and Mindfulness

Posted by Grahak Cunningham on Thursday, January 8, 2015,

On the Peace Run, in Waikerie I went into a major supermarket chain asking if they would sponsor the team some groceries, 'begging,' we humorously called it. Whilst speaking to the manager a curious passer by, her interest piqued by my uniform, asked what I was doing. "Running from Uluru to Canberra." Running in Hyde Park

After a long run across the Nullarbor it was nice to meet people with the torch in more greener pastures. Above is  City of Vincent Mayor,Alannah MacTiernan holding the peace torch at Hyde Park. She was great and even had the motivation to run with some of the school children present.
